VeaMea will be teaming up with Stryker to show off the integration of the Stryker surgical suite and VeaMea's video conferencing.
We were invited to the show because a member of the marketing team at the NY eHealth Collaborative came across the video of Stryker's robotic surgery suite integrated with VeaMea at one of our client locations. They said, "this is exactly the kind of exciting new technology we should be showing at our conference, would you come up ?" A few calls back and forth to coordinate with the people at Stryker and we said "Of Course!"
Pairing VeaMea and Stryker technology enables broadcasting of surgical events out to a wider audience which means fewer people need to be scrubbed in for the procedure, and medical education classes or consulting physicians can get "like they are there" quality video without the increased space, congestion and infection risk of having all those extra bodies there.
The Digital Health conference includes keynotes by Todd Park, CTO of the Department of Health & Human Services, and T.R. Reid.
